Shrimp is situated only 50 yards from the water’s edge, near the ancient Blockhouse that once guarded the harbour entrance. From the property, there are superb uninterrupted views of the whole harbour looking upstream towards Bodinnick and across to Fowey. Shrimp also has the advantage of a generous patio area overlooking the water and a sloping garden that goes down to the harbour’s edge. The village shops, inns and the ferry to Fowey are all within easy walking distance. 

Shrimp has two bedrooms. One has a double bed, views over the harbour and patio windows leading to the garden and has an en-suite shower-room with lavatory and washbasin and under floor heating. The other has two single beds. The separate bathroom has a bath with shower over it, lavatory, washbasin, heated towel rail and is nicely equipped. The living room is open plan with excellent harbour views from the patio doors and additional windows to the side. The living area is comfortably furnished with a sitting and dining area, wood-burning stove, digital  television and DVD player. The kitchen area is extremely well equipped and has  an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Night storage heating is provided. The cost of electricity is included in the rent. 

A telephone is available for incoming calls only. All bed linen is supplied.

Outside, there is a level patio overlooking the water with plenty of room to sit. Steps lead from the patio to the garden that slopes down to the waters edge. There is no direct access from the garden to the water. Due to the proximity of the water, we suggest that this property may not be suitable for children under 8 years of age. Parking is available in the car park around 500 yards from Shrimp.  It is possible to get within 50 yards of the property to unload.
